What actually decides how long an NP1213 bar lasts

Feed size, not chemistry

A bar rated at 62 HRC will still fail in three weeks if 700 mm lumps are going into a 1,200 mm rotor. We ask for your top size and closed-side setting before recommending a grade, because it changes the answer more than the chrome content does.

Chrome content is a range, not a label

Cr26 covers a wide spread. We verify every heat by optical emission spectrometry before pouring, and hold 58-66 HRC after heat treatment. A three-point hardness drop across a batch is what makes one bar last 40% longer than its neighbour.

Fit and gap

A bar sitting 2 mm proud changes the impact angle for the whole rotor and wears the rest of the set with it. Every set is checked dimension by dimension against your drawing or a measured sample.

•

Dimensional report measured against your drawing

•

Photos of the packed case before it leaves the yard

If a shipment arrives with a problem, these four documents are how we settle it in one conversation instead of three weeks of emails.

How to order

Step 1

Send three numbers

Length, width, thickness. Or a drawing, a part number, or a photo of the worn bar next to a ruler.

Step 2

We come back within 24 hours

With the grade we recommend, the weight per piece, the CBM per case, and the lead time.

Step 3

Approve, deposit, cast

25 days from deposit to a packed case. Air freight available for trial orders of one or two sets.
